A healthy approach to food

THE challenge to provide healthy food for our children in these busy times is becoming more and more a hot topic.

It is terrific to see that there are groups and businesses out there promoting healthy living.

There are some simple changes that can be made that make a huge difference to a person’s health.

Many processed foods are full of preservatives and colourings that can cause a behavioural change in humans.

Not giving the kids red cordial before they go to bed is going to make a difference.

There are some simple things that can be done to make changes in how the family eats.

The less processed a food is the less preservatives and additives it contains.

When doing the grocery shop it is better to buy fresh. If you do buy packaged food, buy ones that contain the least number of ingredients and plain chips are much better than flavoured ones.

Little changes will make a difference to how your family feels and how they all behave.

Try it and see the difference it makes.
