Most are also quite balanced in their view as well because they fully comprehend the enormous wealth and opportunity coal mining brings to this community, state and nation.

They can see both sides of the debate because they experience it every day.

With that in mind one would think it would be worth the state govenment’s consideration to use as many of these minds to bring a balance to coal mining.

Industry needs to understand that the coal industry is viewed as a whole when it comes to impacts.

The community needs to understand that coal is here for a long time to come.

The two sides need to come together and be completely honest in their debate.

Everyone has an opinion and sometimes the most diverse opinions, once shared, deliver a compromise that would never have been discovered without heated debate.

Heated debate, bring it on because that is how real solutions to real issues are found.
