Broke Village Fair

10 Sep, 2010 11:03 AM
THE perfect weather forecast for this weekend leaves no excuse for not going to the Broke Village Fair and Vintage Car Display on Sunday.

The annual fair will see a unique display of vintage cars, farm machinery, motorbikes, and trucks.

It is a family fun filled day with plenty to see, do, eat, admire and listen to throughout the whole day.

Stilt walkers, a jumping castle, performance from Blu’s School of Dance and the Singleton Pipes and Drums will add to the festive atmosphere of the event.

Run by the not-for-profit Broke Village Fair and Vintage Car Display committee, the event is also a great opportunity to see displays from the National Parks and Wildlife Service, the Rural Fire Service and the Westpac Rescue Helicopter service.

Food will not be scarce either with Turkish Gazlomes, hot dogs, sandwiches and the famous Rotary and Lions Clubs barbecues.

Market stalls will see local produce of all types on offer including olives, wines, jams and home crafts.

With a gold coin donation for entry, this event is a fabulous way to spend a lazy Sunday.

The fair is held in McNamara Park in Broke from 9am to 3pm.
