THIS year’s winners at the Clear Image Hunter Valley Wine Show are as diverse as the categories.
The results this year award the older more established winemaking families and the next generation of winemakers who are starting to show their talents.
A massive 768 exhibits from over 100 Hunter Valley exhibitors were judged.

Murray Tyrrell Chardonnay Trophy - Best Chardonnay - Any Vintage: Tyrrell’s Vineyards Pty Ltd 2009 Belford Chardonnay.
Len Evans Trophy - Best Named Vineyard Wine: Thomas Wines 2006 Cellar Reserve Braemore Semillon.
Drayton Family Trophy - Best 100 per cent Hunter Valley Dry Red Wine: Tyrrell’s Vineyards Pty Ltd 2009 Vat 9 Shiraz.
