SINGLETON is one of four venues across the state to host a coal forum to discuss the contents of the coal and gas strategy for New South Wales.
The forum will be held at the Singleton Civic Centre, Queen Street, on March 9 at 10.30am.
Minister for Planning Tony Kelly is expected to address the forum.
After addressing the first forum in Gunnedah last week, Mr Kelly said there was a strong message the strategy should address how other industries and activities such as farming and agriculture can grow, rather than simply focusing on coal seam gas and coal mining.
