THE New England Highway was blocked for six hours after a loaded coal truck over turned.
The truck overturned at around 7.45am on Friday near Muscle Creek causing chaos for peak hour traffic.
Diversions were put in place but the road remained closed until 1.30pm while a clean up operation was undertaken.
The driver only sustained minor injuries.
No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
Police are continuing their investigations into the incident.
