Truck hits Caledonian

03 Feb, 2012 09:15 AM
POLICE are seeking public help to track down the driver of a cattle truck that hit Singleton’s Caledonian Hotel and drove off.

The truck was heading down George Street at 6pm on Tuesday when it turned into Cambridge Street and ploughed into the pub’s verandah posts.

Although the accident was witnessed, the registration number given to police was incorrect and inquiries so far to find the driver have not been fruitful.

Anyone with information about the crash could ring Singleton police on 6578 7499.
