A 4BBB Stableford event was contested last Saturday at the Singleton Golf Club. The course is looking great after the half inch of rain that fell early in the week and a strong field showed up to compete.
Murray Considine paired with Martin Worth to shoot 48 points and take the first place prize.
Murray’s form continues to impress as his come back to competition golf gets back into full swing and Martin is showing all at the club that he is a junior to take notice of!
Joe Baker and Bob Jones were the unlucky runners up just one point behind with 47. Both Joe and Bob admitted after their round that they had left a few shots out there on the course.
In third place on 46 points was the fast finishing team of Brad Gardiner and Paul Burke.
The secret nine event saw a three way count back applied to sort out the winners from the also rans. The winners were Stumpy Stephens and Ian Thomas.
Murray Considine and Martin Worth came in second with Jake Smith and Mark Newman third.
The Shed 33 Monthly Mug is up for grabs this Saturday and is certainly proving to be popular judging from the amount of entrants. The time sheet is on the notice board now.
Junior News
Sunday’s junior comp was back in full swing last weekend. Brady Hay continued on his winning way when he returned a solid nett 31. He won on a count back from Saturday comp winner Martin Worth.
Kieren Nowland came in with a 33 and third place.The Junior Comp is hitting off this Sunday from 8.30am.
