The six day competition was held at the Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre and consisted of heat swims in the morning each day and finals in the evening session.

The pair competed in 17 events, making the finals in 13 events.

The first day of competition saw Jade compete in the 100m butterfly and 200 medley, a solid heat swim in the 200m individual medley put her in lane 2 for the final. Jade took out the gold medal and claimed the State Title for the event in a time of 2:23:79.

Heat swims in the morning saw Oliver qualify for the finals in both the 200m freestyle and 200m breaststroke, where he placed seventh in both events, doing a personal best of 2:08:58 in the freestyle and a 2:47:38 in the breaststroke.
