THE A Grade winners for Saturday produced some outstanding rounds with Brad Kelly scoring 44 pts to win A Grade, an amazing round in any conditions.

Runner up was Joshua Tracey who continues to burn up the course from his low single figure handicap.
His 43 pts suggests that Branxton may have a strong contender for the club championships next year.
His father Mick will be pushing hard to beat his son in his present form.
Peter Vitnell also continued his good form, finishing third with 39 pts. B Grade was won by Paul Bush with 42 pts on a countback from Bobby Hale with Reece Caldwell third with 40 pts.
All three players have been playing well this summer. Troy McCaw is starting to realise his potential judging by his 42 pts to win C Grade.
Colin Hughes finished second with a very pleasing 40 pts with local super vet, Lester Bootes, third with 37 pts. 34 pts was needed to win a ball.
Peter Wilton hit the shot of the day, only 80 cms away on the last. The 2014 Pennants began on Sunday.
In B Grade, Branxton defeated Stonebridge 2-1 at the Hunter Valley Golf Course, C Grade defeated The Vintage 2-1 at Stonebridge, and Branxton A Grade team lost 4-3 to Singleton at The Vintage. Seniors do not start until next week.
