SINGLETON Netball Associations 2012 season kicked off to a noisy and colourful start with the annual march past on Saturday.
Big crowds turned up to watch the spectacular event, lapping up superb weather for the occasion.
Thankyou to everyone who participated, teams put in a great deal of effort.
The committee would like to thank George Souris, state member for Upper Hunter and Mrs Vassy Souris and Joel Fitzgibbon, federal member for Hunter, Mrs Peg Moore, Mrs Jenny Knight and Mrs Deb Senior, all life members of Singleton Netball association for coming and judging the march past this year.
The winners of the Senior division were Aliens, the indermediate division saw Rambos as winners, Charmed took the trophy for the junior division and Hot Sox were winners in the netta division.
A reminder to all teams that they are required to be in full uniform next week.
If you are not in uniform you will be unable to take the court.
Teams / players still waiting on uniform orders will need to send a copy of the invoice. Players will also not be permitted to take the court with bike pants, leotards or any similar stretch shorts.
Please contact us if you need further information on what is permitted.
The junior umpires clinic will begin this week, May 19, at 11:15am.
All players registered to attend are asked to be there five minutes early to sign on. Anyone requiring further information can email Marilyn Rix, the association’s umpire's convenor.
A junior team still requires one or two players aged 9 or 10 years of age.
