THE vehicles pictured above were involved in a crash at Black Creek, near Standen Drive, a place the local tow truck drivers say is an accident black spot.
Never before have the local towies been so busy. Their workloads have trebled over the past two years which is evidence our road system has hit crisis point.
A bypass, if in fact we ever get one, will be at least 10 years away by the time the planning and environmental studies are done.
This community needs to come up with some ideas on how we can address urgent safety issues - now.
Speed limits and all other safety measures must be fast tracked before the crashes become even more frequent and ultimately, fatal.
