MOTORISTS are advised of temporary changes to the speed limit on the New England Highway at Lower Belford as work continues on the Hunter Expressway.
One lane in each direction is currently closed for two kilometres of the New England Highway, west of Branxton and the speed limit has been reduced to 60km/h at all times.
Motorists should also be aware of increased heavy vehicle traffic and a reduced shoulder width between Black Creek and Belford.
Traffic turning into Standen Drive from the highway may experience brief delays to allow truck movements close to the intersection.
