There will be a barbecue, face painting, game of bowls and live entertainment from 1pm to 4pm.
“The day is about letting people know about Crohn’s and helping them understand the meaning and what people go through that are suffering from this disease,” Sophie said.
“I am trying to show people that it does not take too much time or money to help raise awareness for any disease or illness.
Sophie’s sister suffers from Crohn’s and seeing her go through everything she did, having operation after operation makes her want to help as much as she can.
“I want people to know that there are people out there that do care and that are willing to do anything to help,” she said.
Everybody is welcome. It will be a lovely day out, the kids will enjoy it with lots of prizes as well.
Sophie has been helped along the way by her Max Potential coach Cynthia Mulholland from Singleton Council.
