The meeting will be held on Tuesday at 10am , August 5 at the Diggers Complex on York Street.
Mr Paras is with compliance branch of the Office of Liquor, Gaming & Racing - NSW Trade & Investment.
He will be discussing a number of topics that will be of great value to local lincencees says new president of the Singleton Liquor Accord, Gerard McMillan.
Gerard took on the role after a former president, Daniel Story left the industry.
Mr McMillan is also the general-manger of Singleton Diggers and has been for the past 35 years.
“I hope to secure a variety of guest speakers to make our meetings more interesting and informative,” he said.
“I have known and worked with Mr Paras for many years and his knowledge will benefit those who come along.”
Mr Paras will be speaking about:
•late night traders – making your venue comply with patron safety;
•regional Health Check relating to compliance levels- Liquor and Gaming;
•RSA – RCG Competency Cards and transitional changes;
•licensing conditions – discuss your current conditions with your venue;
•risked based licensing fees – general discussions.
And of course, he will be able to answer any questions members may have, Mr McMillan said.
