They fought hard but ended up going down three nil after waiting a week for the big match due to a rain delay.
The Strikers had plenty of goal scoring opportunities in the first half but were unable to put the ball in the back of the net.
However, thanks to a strong defensive effort the scoreline was nil all at the break.
A penalty early in the second half saw West Wallsend break the deadlock, the gifted goal gave them the lift they needed and the home side went on to score two more times.
