The groundswell of fairgoers began in the days leading up to the event, with about 150 caravans descending on Broke, and continued throughout the weekend.
Broke Village Fair Committee president Eden Anthony said the turnout was one of the best he’d seen during his time at the helm.
“It was absolutely fantastic, it was one of the best fairs we’ve ever had here in terms of numbers, the atmosphere was terrific,” he said.
“Judging by the donations we received, we probably have broken a recent record.
“And, a lot of the attendees that have been coming for more than 10 years said they hadn’t seen as many here in a long time.”
Mr Anthony said the newly-added laser tag attraction had been a big hit, as had the nine rocker cover car racers on display, and the crowd had thoroughly enjoyed the music on offer throughout the weekend.
