But, one lucky library card holder is set to receive the presents.
That person will win a Tuscany Wine Estate holiday when the library hits the 10,000 members’ mark.
Singleton Council general manager Lindy Hyam announced the library’s 10,000 membership drive at the 10th birthday celebrations.
When the library reaches 10,000 members, a draw of all current and new members will be held for one lucky card holder to win a weekend for two at the Tuscany Wine Estate Resort in Pokolbin.
The prize package includes a two-night stay, inclusive of full-cooked breakfast and two-course dinner at The Mill Restaurant, a full day winery tour and a Balloons Aloft flight over the vineyards.
“Currently 33 per cent of residents in the Singleton LGA (Local Government Area) are active members,” Ms Hyam said.
“That’s more than 7000 community members who regularly visit the library and we aspire to reach 50 per cent of the population.”
You can become a library member at www.singleton.nsw.gov.au or drop into the library and speak to one of the friendly team.
The Singleton Public Library is open 9am to 8pm Monday to Friday and 9am to noon on Saturday.
