WEDNESDAY’S ladies golf competition was a stroke event for Veterans’ Cup which was won by Ellen Wade with the best score of the day – net 72.
Helen Castledine won the Putting Cup with 29 putts.
A grade winner was Delma Newman with net 74.
Ellen’s nett 72 also won her the B grade competition with runner up Lois Brooker on nett 73.
Barbara Thomson won the C grade with net 74 from Doris Maxwell with 75 on the count back.

Representing our club at the Hunter Valley Classic at Merriwa last Tuesday and Wednesday our players had some success.
Helen Castledine won Division 1 nett on day one and was runner up in the net over the two days.
Meryl Fry was runner up in the Division 3 scratch on day one and runner up in the net over the two days.
Saturdays competition was a par and won by a visitor from Crown Plaza Doreen Dewar with an impressive +5 from runner up Margaret Burke +4.
Both players won balls.
