Under-16s:
VALLEY won the toss at Cook 3 and sent JPC/Glendon into bat and they ran up a great total of 5-133 off their 25 overs.

For Valley, Isaac Barry (0-3), Jake Domek (0-1) and Jackson Kolatchew (0-3) bowled tightly along with Ethan Smith (1-10) and Tyler Blackaby (0-5).
Valley put in a valiant effort in the run chase but fell just eight runs short, finishing on 5-125.
PCH’s Josh Shade played for Valley and made 29 but it was Barry who was the main stay of the Valley innings.
He was all class and retired on 50, which included five boundaries.
All the JPC/Glendon bowlers played their part in a great victory and their fielding was top notch as they claimed two run outs.
Cooper Bailey, Egan and Joshua Langdon claimed a wicket each with the ball.
Under-13s:
ON Cook 1 it was Glendon Gold who won the toss and they elected to bat first against PCH.
Openers Luke Swinton (13) and Jack Land (4) batted well and put on 21 for the opening stand.
Wickets then fell regularly with the team finishing on 11-41 after their 20 overs.
Samuel Holz (2-2) bowled well for PCH but the real destroyers were Cody Rowe and Charlie Gibson who both claimed three scalps in the final overs of the innings.
Catching was a feature of the PCH effort with Alex Holz taking three, including a screamer at first slip, and Jack Shade snaring two.
PCH finished on 0-66 with Gibson again on fire and retired on 25.
Darby Matthews played his best innings of the season and finished on 19 not out.
Kieran Leslie, having come up from the T20 Blast, had his first bat in the under-13s and finished on two not out.
He provided great support.
Despite not claiming a wicket, the Glendon Gold bowlers kept it tight throughout and fielded well.
Oran Marzol, Aaron Gray, Brock Hamson, Jordan Kemp, Cabe Barrett and Luke Swinton all conceded two runs or less from their overs.
It was a high-scoring match at Cook 2 where Glendon Green batted first against JPC Black.
Glendon Green finished on 5-101 thanks to some great batting from Joel Croucher (27) and Tom Druery (26), who both retired.
For JPC Black, Alexina Ruming (0-2) again bowled well along with Aditya Ratheesh (1-5), Oliver Gunn (1-10) and Barney Griffiths (0-6).
JPC Black did a good job in the run chase but fell just short and finished on 7-84.

Kye Dann contributed five at the end of the innings.
For Glendon Green, it was Beau Parnell who returned the best figures of 2-6.
The Thornberry brothers, Dorian and Conor, both claimed a wicket each and bowled tightly along with Brendan Leach.
Fielding was also a highlight with Parnell taking a great catch off Cayden Oldham’s bowling and Croucher had safe hands snaring two.

Preston Miller (1-2) and Liam Bates (1-6) claimed the wickets for Valley and Samuel Rumbel bowled tightly (included his first maiden).
Valley was unlucky to lose this one, having scored more runs and bowled tightly but it was a great effort from the team.
