The squad, made up of boys and girls aged between 10 to 17 years, are travelling with confidence to the State Carnival from March 20 to 22 after good performances at the qualifying regional tournament.
Ethan McLaughlin came first in all his events at the regional meet, an event which covers an area from Newcastle to Tamworth.
Sam Howard and George Davis will join McLaughlin at the state level and are the newest success stories for the club after joining this year.
Both of the guys have made it at school athletics and now have chance to progress through the athletic club’s pathway.
Elsewhere, Samantha Odgers is competing at state for the sixth time in wide range of events.
The young stars had to compete in hot conditions at the regional stage.
Now, they’re training hard to make sure they’re at the top of their game.
