This year’s theme is highlighting the impact of climate change on our Aussie food and farmers.
Singleton Council is inviting you to join in the action as we throw our support behind Aussie food and farmers and discuss sustainable food while warming our tummies with homemade pumpkin soup.
Permaculture and sustainability trainer Kerrie Anderson from Sustainable Education will speak at Singleton Library on Wednesday from 6.30pm about how to make sustainable food choices to help save the planet, while saving us time and money.
Attendees can also enjoy fresh pumpkin soup, provided by Angela Standen, a local mother of five seeking to live simply and eat locally.
Orders for Earth Hour’s cookbook Planet to Plate will be taken on the night by Singleton Books Etc.
The evening is part of the Sustainable Singleton series and everyone is welcome to attend.
