A FOUR person ambrose event on Wednesday introduced the game of golf to those who rarely head for a hit.
The annual Friends Day provides an opportunity for those unable to take part in the weekly competition.
Winner over the field with a score of 561/2 nett were J Simple, J Delaney, C Thomson, and P Burns.
Runner up on 571/4 were M Dent, J Proudfood, D Nowland and M Fry.
Second runners up werre H Castledine, K Valentine, A Elgar and J Mackaway on nett 58.
Third runners up over the field L Heuston, D Newman, R Sciani and D Maxwell.
All players received a ball.
Nearest the pin on the 2nd and 11th hole was Jodie Mackaway while Marie Scholttenbach was nearest the pin on the 6th and 15th.
Nearest the pin second shot on the 9th/18th hole was R Sciani.
Saturday’s competition was a stroke event, round seven of the WGNSW Medal and monthly medal count putt.
Putting winner was J Ninness. Winner was H Storey on a nett 88. Balls to J Ninness and H Storey.
Next Wednesday’s competition is round seven monthly medal and veterans and count putts sponsored by Tre Bella Hair and Beauty.
It is also the first round of the Captain’s Cup.
