The winners in all grades fired low scores with B grade being the lowest.
Daniel Storey, the A grader who took October’s championship excitement levels to new highs, was once again crowned the A grade winner.
His round of two over par 71 gave him a nett of 66 and a handicap adjustment.
Storey’s form lately has been nothing short of brilliant and he is sure to feature in many competitions in the future.
Multiple-club champion Nathan Bagnall also shot a 71, however his lower handicap produced a nett of 69, good enough for the runners up prize.
Aaron Upcroft took out B grade with the day’s best score of 65.
Upcroft, who has only recently allowed employment to interfere with his golfing roster, shot his best round for many a month.
In the runners up spot, three strokes behind on 68 was the very consistent Dave Stibbard.
Craig Edwards bounded to the front in C grade.
His nett of 67 may have managed to resurrect his golf game which has been floundering of late.
Edwards beat home by one stroke the Speedy Gonzales that is Terry Thompson.
Allan Piggott’s back nine of 31 was the lowest and took out the weekly Secret 9 competition.
Following closely behind was Matt Boyce (32), Graeme Toohey (33) and Storey (33).
Tomorrow’s competition is a Stableford Countdown with an individual in conjunction.
It’s a great competition that has the tension building all the way through the round.
There are still a few vacancies so enter now for a fun-filled round.
The Pro Shop Monthly Mug being played on December 5 is filling up rapidly.
The day is also a 30-year celebration for Les and Di Bennett running the Pro Shop.
Callaway, Titleist, Srixon, and Walkinshaw Sports have all come on board as supporters of the day and the club’s new caterers will be passing around finger food around presentation time. The Bennetts invite all members, past and present, to join in the celebration.
