SINGLETON school students jumped at the opportunity to meet author Gabrielle Lord at Singleton Library on Wednesday.
Lord is well known for her diverse range of writing that provides entertaining stories for both adult and young adult audiences, some of her well known books include Fortress and the Conspiracy 365 series.
She was visiting Singleton as a part of Scholastic’s national tour called “Get Reading” and gave a talk to 180 students from Singleton Christian College, Singleton High School and St Catherine’s Catholic College.
Christian College teacher Marney Meredith said that the students both boys and girls were all familiar with the books and really captivated by them which is rare.
