A WOMAN is reported to be seriously injured after an accident involving a horse in Singleton this morning.
Paramedics were called to a property on Maison Dieu Rd just before 9am.
The woman, believed to be in her mid 40s, was seriously injured after she was trampled and dragged by the horse.
A NSW Ambulance spokesman said paramedics treated the woman at the scene before she was taken to John Hunter Hospital by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter with a serious head injury.
A hospital spokeswoman said the woman was in a serious but stable condition this afternoon.
