Maitland lost the John Bull Shield decider to Singleton at Robins Oval but won the Second Division showdown against Dungog at Thornton 1.
In the main game Maitland failed to chase down 147 posted by the visitors and were dismissed eight runs short in the 44th over.
Man of the match Cale Smith helped claim the trophy for Singleton, with figures of 5-26 from 9.5 overs after scoring a valuable 21 not out batting at No.10.
It was a promising start to the day for Maitland with Singleton, who won the toss and elected to bat, struggling at 4-34 after 11 overs.
But after falling to 6-59 a partnership of 61 between Jacob Carey (44) and Dan Galvin (27) steadied the ship for Singleton.
Three quick wickets approaching the second drinks break by a last stand of 24.
Skipper Josh Callinan (3-22) and all-rounder Lincoln Mills
(3-41) split six wickets between them.
Mitchell Fisher (2-33), Nick Rinkin (1-22) and Chris Archer (1-27) also chipped in for Maitland.
In reply, Maitland were also 4-34 before Simon Marshall (41), Matt Gabriel (18) and Blake Walmsley (29) got the hosts within reach. But a late collapse of 4-8 saw Maitland lose their second John Bull Shield final to Singleton in four seasons.
It was a better result for Maitland in the Second Division final with a five-wicket victory.
Maitland dismissed Dungog for 138 in 36.1 overs before reeling in the required total with 11.3 overs to spare.
Captain Karl Bowd top scored with 45 before Marty Blenman finished off proceedings with an unbeaten 29.
Earlier in the day Jono Hickey (3-32) and Blake Chandler (3-27) were the best of the Maitland bowlers.
Ryan Merrick (2-18), Josh Adams (1-12) and Tim Burton
(1-26) also contributed for the home team.
A cluster of five wickets in five overs finished the Dungog innings after Marty Osmond made 32.
Maitland now progress to the 2MO Cup, which will be played at Scone on February 28.
