A private screening will be held at Singleton Majestic Cinema on Thursday, and students will hear from the talented designer after the film. Liz has worked on a number of well-known movie sets including Dark City and I, Robot and is looking forward to giving the students an insight into the world of design.
“What I want to do is to talk to the students about what role I played in the costume design of the film and give an insight into the skills needed,” Liz says.
“It will be a talk about what can be expected in a career in design and then there will be time for students to ask questions.”
After a ten year break, Liz returned to the world of design for the film in which she describes as a great experience. “There was absolutely nothing to not want to do about a fantasy film – it is one of my favourite genres to work with.”
