This is the state's largest netball event and Singleton will come up against the best players from regional and metropolitan associations all over New South Wales.
The three day competition will see the girls play up to eight games a day and while training has been intense, coaches have been disappointed in the carnival preparation.
Traditionally the players experience at least five carnivals prior to the big weekend but rain cancelled three of these, including Singleton's own carnival.
In a desperate bid to get that match-play experience, the teams played in torrential rain at Lakeside a fortnight ago before that carnival too was called off midway.
Now, all eyes are on the sky hoping for fine weather as State Age is played in every meteorological condition imaginable.
Singleton Netball Association wishes all teams the very best and know the girls will do our town proud.
