The 14-year-old ran onto Rose Point Park for the 150th time – the first player in the organisation’s history to do so.
Pitcher took his place in the combined Roosters/Muswellbrook Cats’ under-15 side against rivals Newcastle City Navy.
“Tristin’s been playing since he was seven,” proud father, and senior president, Kevin said.
“So, to be the first one in the juniors to achieve 150 appearances, it’s a rare milestone.
“It means a lot to the entire club; many of the seniors are here to support him [today].”
The teenager admitted he was proud of the feat.
“Coming from Melbourne, I’ve always enjoyed watching and playing AFL,” Pitcher said.
“It was great to join a club like Singleton when we moved here. All the boys, from juniors to seniors, are terrific. I love the Roosters – they really make you feel welcome.”
