“Guests enjoyed wonderful entertainment from Jade Goodwin and a fashion parade, courtesy of Runway Clothing. The food was delicious and was made by our talented P&C members Tania Almond, Amanda Gilmore, Ros Kelley and Sam Morgan. Waiters for the afternoon were students from Singleton High School Support Unit and Isabelle Lewis who did an amazing job,” she says.
Guests were also treated to wine tasting courtesy of Peterson's Champagne House, who generously donated a percentage of sales.
Cindy says numerous businesses donated some terrific prizes and vouchers so they conduct a number of monster raffles.
“The Singleton Men’s Shed Support also made some beautiful cheeseboards to serve food on, and these were engraved by the Blue Shed,” she says.
“We would like to thank everyone involved in this wonderful afternoon.”
“A special thanks must be extended to the Almond, Morgan, Gilmore and Kelley families for their months of preparation, and their vision for this fundraiser. Thank you also to Mr Waldock who was a generous and gracious host. His substantial donation towards ‘Ladies on the Lawn’ helped make it such a success.”
