Showing signs of a full recovery from recent shoulder surgery, Kirkpatrick put together 42 points from his 5 handicap. He put 3 bogies on his card, however birdies at 10, 12, 14, and 17 had him finishing with a scratch score of one under par 68.
Runner up was Nick Carey with 38 points. Carey’s game last week at the Aussie Open Pro-am at Royal Sydney seems to have inspired him to new heights. In B grade there was a two way tie on 40 points. Glenn Brown had the better back nine so was awarded the winner’s prize. Runner up went to Andrew Redmond.
Ricky Walters continued his great run of scoring taking out C grade. His winning score was 41 points while Robert Downes shot 40 points to project himself into the runner’s up spot.
Glenn Brown won his week’s Secret 9 with 23 points. The next three best scores came from Rick Walters, Peter Boland, and Mick Kirkpatrick.

A field of 40 players teed off for the November Monthly Medal played as a Stableford event 36 men and 4 ladies. The ladies where integrated into the men’s comp due to the ladies not having enough players to have their own comp. Captain Rick Walters welcomed new players to the vet’s Gary Kiker and Paul Davis, also players who have been in Adelaide playing in the vet’s championships Tony and Colleen Rock, Dave Cheryl Thomson, Rob and Ellen Wade and Ray and Leah Considine. Monthly Medal Winner with a score of 44 points was Gary Edwards. Mens Day winner with a score of 43 points was Gary Flanagan from runner up on 42 points Noel Harden.
