The free, family friendly event will be held at Alan Bull Reserve on Friday, January 20, and will feature the blockbuster movie, The Good Dinosaur, rated PG.
And, once again the Singleton Strikers Soccer Club is the local charity that will benefit.
Entertainment will get underway from 5.30pm with great live music, kids activities, including a circus workshop and small sided football, and once the sun goes down the screen will light up for the feature movie.
Entry is free for everyone and people are encouraged to bring along their picnic rugs and picnics, or purchase food and non-alcoholic drinks at the event as they soak up the magical atmosphere of watching a popular family film in the great outdoors.
CEO Terry Millett said, “We understand how much regional communities across NSW look forward to our Cinema Under the Stars events, and as a customer-owned organisation it is just one of the many ways we’re giving back to communities that support us.
“Since 2008, Newcastle Permanent’s Cinema Under the Stars has brought families and communities together by providing free outdoor cinema events across regional NSW, and our 2nd event in Singleton is expected to attract over 500 people this January,” Mr Millett said.
This season’s Newcastle Permanent Cinema Under the Stars program is set to be the biggest yet, travelling to 16 locations throughout regional NSW, providing an evening of free, family-friendly entertainment.
