So many trucks arrived at Dunedoo today some were asked to travel onto Cassilis to ease the congestion with unloading the wonderful donations.
The convoy was organised by Helping Hand for a Mate on the Land.
The bushfire burnt out 55,000 hectares in the Leadville, Dunedoo, Cassilis and Coolah districts destroying more than 20 homes, including the historic Tongy homestead on the Talbragar River and many outbuildings and other property infrastructure.
The Merriwa-Sir Ivan Bushfire Appeal is also up and running calling for donations of cattle or money to purchase livestock that will be fed at Alexander Downs feedlot at Merrriwa for 80 days with all proceeds going toward the victims of the bushfire.
