From Friday February 24, the local store will be hosting Fresh Fairs in-stores for local communities with all money raised being donated to the children’s charity, Variety.
Running over the weekend, Woolworth’s team members will be on hand to share tips and advice on all things fresh while shoppers enjoy a range of fun activities including raffles, sausage sizzles, cake stalls, face painting and arts and crafts for children.
Store manager, Sandy Stinson says the store is aiming to raise $3000 for the charity through their in-store activities.
Variety provides assistance for children in need by helping them to secure wheelchairs, specialist equipment, therapy, and medical supplies when they are unable to afford.
Woolworths Fresh Fairs will be running from Friday 24 to Sunday 26 and customers are encouraged to get involved to help Woolworths raise funds for a great cause.
