This is the third consecutive season the pair have both medalled at the event.
In the field Odgers placed third in the para U15-17 years girls long jump with a leap of 2.54m.
On the track McLoughlin came second in the U13 years boys 200m sprint, recording a personal best time of 24.17s.
In the 400m event he ran another PB of 54.75s, again placing second.
And, in a cracking finish to his 2016/17 season McLoughlin has been selected to compete at the Asics Australian Little Athletics Championships in Sydney on 22-23 April.
Being selected in the New South Wales team under the Little Athletics banner is a first for the talented young sprinter.
However, he progressed all the way to 2016 Australian All Schools (AAS) Athletics Championships back in December.
So replicating his success at a club level is a pleasing result for the humble athlete.
He reluctantly admits “it was a bit of goal” to complete the double.
Taking it all in his stride, McLoughlin, doesn’t have much to say.
But he did mention he should probably do “some extra training”.
