From the open saddle bronc to the junior categories, the 18 event program is set to be a cracker. All the action gets underway this Saturday from 11am at the showgrounds and will finish with live entertainment by the Trade-ins. There will also be plenty of kids entertainment.
Local talents such as Josh Barnett, Jono Couling, Sean Berg, Steve and Brooke Mapp, Matthew Mapp, Abbie Miller, Kylie George, Gabrielle Ernst, Amanda Watson, Keith Kellie Horne, Ben and Bec Lees, are set to compete.
Along with the five time national champion Pickup Team, Robbie George and Ross Turnbull, – and local bullfighters Ben McKenzie (former southern zone bullfighter of the year), Jock Bone Langdon and Corey Duncan in the spotlight.
Other highlights include a the first ‘Old Guns versus Young Guns’ Steer Wrestling challenge featuring the likes of Singleton’s Matthew Hancock and youngsters, Heath Nichols and Jock Bone Langdon.
