Huge community support was shown for the 2017 ANZAC Day ceremony, which returned to its home in Burdekin Park.

A large crowd gathered around the symbolic cenotaph to remember and give thanks for the sacrifice of our soldiers.
The moving ceremony featured a number of speakers including a prayer from Captain Peter Bennett of the Salvation Army and a reading by Singleton High School student, Zoe Tudor.
For the past few years services were moved to the Civic Green.
Despite a few bats flying overhead, the 2017 ANZAC ceremony was a wonderful service.
