The Singleton community always supports one of the Cancer Council’s biggest fundraisers – Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea.

And, this year is no exception with four events already organised.
These include:
- May 1 – Lone Pine Kiosk, Infantry Museum, Range road. From 10:30am, $10 includes a beautiful morning tea including savouries and sweet temptations;
- May 16 – Branxton/Greta CWA at the Branxton Community Hall from 10.30am;
- May 23 – Uniting Church, corner Church and Hunter Streets from 10am;
- May 29 – Presbyterian Church, Elizabeth Street, from 10:30am.
And, no doubt there will be many more so the volunteers at the Cancer Council’s John Street office would like to help advertise them all.
Volunteer Jan Andrews says they will be displaying a calendar of all events in their shop front window.
“If you would like your event’s date on their calendar please call 6572 5400 or drop into the office on 69 John Street,” she explains.
While the official date for Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea is May 25, you can host one anytime during the month.
