“A lot of people in the Hunter Valley head north to Queensland this time of year, but the trouble is caravan parks aren’t always pet friendly so it’s nice to know you can board your pet with us and know they’ll be well looked after,” Marcia said.

“Jasmine, Kasia, Karen and myself – we’re a different breed of people. We LOVE animals and will do whatever it takes to make sure they’re looked after.

“Kasia worked for the RSPCA, Jasmine has personality plus and Karen is so committed.

“You won’t find anywhere in the valley staffed by people like us.

“We do dogs, cats, birds, fish, mice,  rabbit, chickens, mini pigs and calves – we haven’t done a goat yet but we’re open to all.”

Purpose built 10 years ago,  Lochinvar Pet Motel boasts heated floors in all kennels ensuring your pet will enjoy a comfy 23 to 24 degree enclosure through winter.

Marcia’s staff use the best pet foods – Purina for  cats and Royal Canin for  dogs.

“If a person is selling a house and staying in a motel while they wait for their new house to come available  we’ll look after their pet.

“They can come and visit their dog and take them for a walk on our special walking track if they want.
