The clouds dispersed and made way for the sunshine this morning as the Singleton Fire Station opened their doors for their annual open day.

Fire displays, practise on the hose and a popular ‘get down low and go, go, go’ activity was enough to draw in crowds for the family-friendly event.
Kids were able to get hands-on experience being a firefighter through simulation activities as well as take a look inside the big red trucks.
And to top it all off, there was plenty of coffee and sausage sandwiches for the parents.
