THE Singleton Roosters Hunter Haval Black Diamond Plate side returned to the winning circle after a long weekend general bye with a convincing 76-point win over the Muswellbrook Cats in the Hunter Valley derby at Rose Point Park on Saturday.
The Roosters prevailed 18.13.121 to 7.3.45.
Travis Bates is once more at the top of the Plate goalkicking tally after kicking three goals.
Alex Mitchell, Oliver Moody, Luke Davis, Josh Long and Michael Phillips all managed two majors each in an even goalkicking display.
The Roosters were best served by Davis, Chris Collier, gun centreman Andrew Scott, Jackson Kolatchew, Jarryd Ingram and Moody.
In the Black Diamond reserve grade, Nelson Bay upstaged Singleton 14.9.93 to 1.9.15.
