The HRATA award comes after Lili’s recent success in receiving the Industry Excellence Award for Horticulture and Agriculture. Clearly Lili is no stranger to success and yet she remains humble, happy and hardworking.
For Lili, the most valuable part of being a florist is bringing joy to the many people who order her bouquets.
“I love to see how people react to their flowers and to see them so happy with what I’ve created for them,” she says.
“I have so much support here at WOW flowers – it’s like a little family. But the support I get from the community is really important too. Receiving compliments and knowing people are happy with what I’m creating is always nice.”
Of course, being around the beautiful flowers is a bonus to what is already a rewarding job for Lili. The WOW florist began her career as a floral designer in 2014 after undertaking her Year 10 work experience at a local florist and from here, her passion for the industry grew.
The young achiever is looking to continue her floristry work upon the completion of her traineeship and hopes to one day specialise in wedding floristry.
