Held in their rooms the Group’s chairman Warren Barnes said they were most fortunate to have organisations locally that were so generous in providing donations to our Legacy Group that assisted our Legacy Widows and their children.
Servicemen and women who have paid the supreme sacrifice or are experiencing harder times, through illness or injury, the donations and funds raised by our Group assists these families, he said.
“Singleton Legacy raises funds through our badge day in August each year. We are helped on the day by many soldiers from the School of Infantry and school children – their assistance is greatly appreciated,” Mr Barnes said.
