EWON is also partnering with the Council and Singleton Neighbourhood Centre to hold a Bring Your Bills Day on Wednesday July 5 at the Singleton Neigbourhood Centre.
The two events are free and consumers can get information, as well as help with their energy bills, fines, housing, health, legal and financial issues and more.
On day one the program is as follows: 9.30am Susan Wilcox, Singleton Council Opening and traditional welcome 9.35am Ken van de Werken, Singleton Council Financial Hardship Policy 9.50am Narelle Brown, EWON Role of EWON, current issues, rebates and case studies 10.30am Suzanne Dean, NSW Fair Trading The National Disability Insurance Scheme 11.00am Morning tea 11.20am Public Interest Advocacy Centre Advocating hints and tips, getting the best out of your negotiations 11.50am Terence Cook, State Debt Recovery Fines, enforcement action and community service orders 12.10pm Matthew Lyster, Legal Aid Domestic violence and financial hardship.
The Bring Your Bills Day will run from 9:00am to 3:00pm and is designed to help consumers with their energy bills, fines, housing, health, legal and financial issues and more.
