And, they didn’t let their supporters down producing arguably their best ever win.
The Roosterettes travelled to the Central Coast and defeated finals aspirants Wyong Lakes.
The final scores in a game dominated by defence were Singleton 4.3.27 to Wyong Lakes 3.1.19.
It was the Roostersettes’ fourth consecutive win and has them at 5-7 this season.
Lynan Muldoon’s three goals were priceless for Singleton as she was the only multiple goalkicker in the game.
Muldoon led the Roosterettes best players, well-supported by the consistent Tori Cowburn, Hayley Frazer, Liz Moule, Lua Roser and ruck Kaylah Jeffriess-Tapper.
Unfortunately, the reserve grade outfit suffered a 14.19.103 to 2.4.16 loss to Nelson Bay.
Next weekend, Singleton’s Black Diamond Plate side is on the road to the Central Coast for a big clash with ladder leaders Wyong Lakes.
The Roosterettes head to Newcastle No.1 Sportsground to play Killarney Vale as part of six-game marathon at the ground to celebrate women’s round.
