Profits raised from this year’s event will again go to the Singleton Neighbourhood Centre to allow them to employ a mental health worker for youth one day a week at Singleton for a year.
The Lake St Clair Charity Bike Ride will be held on Saturday, August 19, starting at Lake St Clair at 8.30am and ending at Lake St Clair about 11.30am, approximately 30 minutes from the Singleton township, a beautiful location in the Singleton area.
The Bike Ride will cater for experienced and novice riders with a 75km lake route, that would provide a great training ride for other major rides later in the year, a 48km lake route and a 16km lake route for less experienced riders.
There will also be a supervised area at Lake St Clair for the kids to ride in.
Rotary Club of Singleton president Anita White says that “this is an important event on cyclists’ annual calendar”.
“It will continue to build Singleton’s cycling tourism reputation, provide flow on benefits for the local economy and help those in need,” she added.
The Bike Ride will be supported on the day with catering by the Rotary Club of Singleton at Lake St Clair.
Interested cyclists can register and see the routes on the website at www.lakeride.com.au
