From 7.30pm, guests can immerse themselves in a play about the classical composer, Frederick Chopin.
The performance tells the life of Chopin through his feeling and live piano, and portrays the story of the man behind the music.
The production has been performed over 50 times, from Edinburgh to Sydney and now it’s headed for Singleton.
Chopin’s Last Tour was researched, written and performed by Branxton local, Phillip Aughey. Mr Aughey has been operating his theatre company, Anvil Creek Theatre for 16 years.
A classically trained pianist, Mr Aughey has given numerous classical recitals in Singleton, Cessnock and Maitland for charity. He also has a Bachelor in Communications, majoring in Theatre.
"Besides the fact that Chopin is my favourite composer, I find his music both soothing and interesting to play,” Mr Aughey said.
“He did lead a very interesting life."
Tickets to the performance are $25 and can be purchased at the door.
