Singleton Quilters Inc. are holding their biennial quilt show themed “Traditionally Modern” on September 15-17

Singleton Quilters Inc. is holding it biennial quilt show themed “Traditionally Modern” from Friday to Sunday at  74 George Street. This year the Quilters are showcasing the work of their junior members who have been busily making quilts for the show. Three members Emily Knight, Meg Meyers and Kirby Hayes have been mentored by their family quilters and produced some lovely quilts.

As well as the new junior quilter Alie Jane’s Travel Accessories is bringing her mobile store to the show on Saturday and Sunday.  The Quilters have also made a beautiful batik quilt they are raffling with the proceeds going to the Singleton RFS and the Hunter Medical Research Institute. Opening hours Friday and Saturday 10-4 and Sunday 10-3.
