Although the eventual result of the first grade match against the newly amalgamated PCH/Glendon side had to be called on the scores at the 30 over mark due to wet weather finally stopping play. However, this did not stop Cook piling on the runs when he took to the crease at Howe Park and it went a long way toward Creeks amassing a total of 312 during their reduced 42 over innings. He was well supported by fellow opener, Chris Unicomb (20) and then, Graham Unicomb (80). While Daniel Oldknow was the pick of the bowlers, snaring 3-52, including the prized wicket of Cook.

Facing an uphill battle, PCH/Glendon lost their first wicket in only the second over and it was left to the middle order to steady the ship. With Anthony Bailey top scoring on 58 no and  Abe Jones on 35. But the weather ended up beating everyone and the game had to be called off in 33^rd over (5/178) with Bailey and Max Willis still at the crease. It was Blake Cook who did the damage with the ball taking 3-37. In the other first grade encounter, JPC easily accounted for Muswellbrook at Victoria Park. Batting first, the homeside were bowled out in the 25^th over and only managed to score 100. And, about half of these were scored by opener, Luke Cameron (54). With the rest of the team hardly putting up a fight against JPC bowlers Darren Thompson (3/30), Josh Harvey (3/13) and Josh Rinkin (1/23).It only took JPC 14 overs to chase and eclipse the opposition’s total with youngster Jack Turner top scoring on 41. Thompson was also good with the bat, scoring 28.
